August 2016 Starred Children and Teen Book Releases

Intro

This list will continue to grow over the coming months as reviewers include additional starred reviews.  Please feel free to check back.

Also, please note that these book releases, and many more appear in our Starred Reviews and Highly Anticipated Book Release Calendar and Starred Reviews Spreadsheet.  Both are a work in progress at this time, but contain some serious goodies, even at this early stage.  It is estimated that both the calendar and the spreadsheet will be completed at the end of August.

Seeing stars?  Professional book reviewers only award a star to exceptional books.  More than one star means experts from multiple organizations felt the book was outstanding.
