Tween Picks August 2016
Best Books for Tweens August 2016 Picks

Intro

There are tons of great tween books out this month!  I’m especially excited to share The Girl Who Drank the Moon, a critically acclaimed fantasy, full of magic and adventure by Kelly Barnhill.  Also, two bestselling teen authors have written books for this slightly younger audience.  Both books, Furthermore by Tahereh Mafi and The Scourge by Jennifer A. Nielsen will be released later this month and promise to be every bit as amazing as the authors’ previous works.  Fuzzy, co-written by Tom Angleberger, New York Times bestselling author of the Origami Yoda series, is a humorous tale of a robot trying to navigate middle school – as if it’s not tough enough!

That was just a quick mention of a few books that piqued my interest, and of course there’s more awesomeness in the books on this list.  I hope you find something that your tween will fall in love with!!
