Tween Picks February 2016
Tween Picks for February 2016

Intro

I’m super excited about Serafina and the Black Cloak, which looks like a delicious curl-up-for-an-afternoon-and-get-totally-absorbed kind of thing. I started reading the preview on Amazon and closing the preview to do a grown-up chore pretty much killed my delighted little inner self. Delighted self dead. RIP. It’s possible that the actual reading of the book will revive things though, so phew… book’s on its way.

Along the lines of getting lost for an afternoon… The Hollow Boy (Lockwood & Co. Book Three). Okay, normally I’m not going to put book #2, book #3, and so on in these lists, because of course you have to start with book one of a series and I’d hate for someone to accidentally end up with book three on their hands and no previous parts of the series, but sometimes it’s just going to be necessary. This series looks awesome. And besides, no one would want to have to wait a year between these book's releases. Torture!! So go ahead and pick up all three books and prepare to say goodbye to your tween for a week or two.

On the realistic side of things, Orbiting Jupiter and Dream On, Amber look AMAZING! Give ‘em a look. I know you’re going to want to pass these on to your kiddos. Oh yes. :D

Seeing stars?  Professional book reviewers only award a star to exceptional books.  More than one star means experts from multiple organizations felt the book was outstanding.
