Best New Books for Kids and Teens | January 2017

INTRO

Normally, I begin each age group section by highlighting a few favorite books.  I'm afraid, in the interest of time this month, I haven't listed those highlights.

Still...  January is a great month for children's books!  Excellent baby and toddler books and early reader books were a little scant, but there are such wonderful choices for picture books, 4th-6th grade, tween, and teen books; I just know you're going to find something to delight your children, students, or library patrons!

Seeing stars?  Professional book reviewers only award a star to exceptional books.  More than one star means experts from multiple organizations felt the book was outstanding.
